As standard, the font is drained in the same way as in a normal bathtub, through the drain hole, after pulling the plug. The drain hole is made of galvanized steel, which guarantees durability and strength.
A siphon is screwed on the bottom, which prevents unpleasant sewage odors from entering the room. To the siphon screwed flexible corrugation with a diameter of 50 mm., length up to 1 m., which is tightly inserted into the sewer pipe. This method of draining the font is the most simple, convenient and economical. The siphon is located under the font and the sewer pipe. As a rule, it is also located under the font.
However, it is also possible to locate the sewage pipe next to the font or in the wall. The drainage corrugation will be routed through a special ventilation hole to the required location.
We also supply an overflow pipe with the font. You can use it instead of a plug. It is convenient because you can leave the font filled with water and do not worry that the water will pour over the edge. When you reach the height of the overflow pipe excess will fall into it and go into the drain.
We also offer semi-automatic water drain. The principle of its operation is simple — a chrome valve is installed on the font, turning which opens the drain and the water goes into the sewer.
Depending on whether the font is outdoors or indoors, there are different ways of filling the font with water. Indoors, the most practical, convenient and aesthetically pleasing way is to install a faucet above the font. It is possible to bring only cold water, or cold and hot water. It is recommended to mount the faucet 10-15 cm above the font, so that the font can be pushed under the faucet.
To fill the font with water, you can order a special nozzle, which is cut into the font.
A hose is screwed onto this nozzle from the back side, which in turn is screwed onto the faucet or faucet.
The use of a nozzle has only an aesthetic property, i.e. there are no mixers, hoses, etc. in plain view, as all components remain behind the wall of the font. We also offer installation of a concealed mixer paired with a nozzle. It is convenient because the font is not filled from above with water, as in a traditional bathtub, but through a nozzle located in the wall of the font and in the nozzle can be supplied, both hot and cold water.
If the font is located outside in the open air, or on the veranda, we recommend using a hose that extends from the room for filling. This method will save you from the hassle of bringing water to the font and the threat of freezing hoses, pipes, faucets in winter.
